This is the same error message that you had initially reported, which means that the SQLCMD.EXE utility is still not installed correctly.

If you go into a command prompt, type in "SQLCMD.EXE" and press ENTER and receive the following message, it will confirm that SQLCMD.EXE is not correctly installed.

'sqlcmd.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

This message can mean that SQLCMD.EXE is not installed at all, or that it has been installed and the environment variable named PATH= has not been updated to include the path where this EXE file is located.

Hi Sourav,

The tool to be used for importing the Flexera libraries is MgsImportRecognition.exe.

So after downloading the ARL/SKU/PURL files manually to the C:\Temp\ARL folder, try running "MgsImportRecognition -i C:\Temp\ARL" please.

In case you happen to have an Internet connection from your FNMS application server, you can also run MgsImportRecognition.exe without any parameters. In this case, the application will download all required libraries from Flexera directly.

This means that the SQLCMD.EXE utility from SQL Server has not been installed on the FlexNet Manager Server.

You need to download and install the following SQL Server utilities:

1) Client Tools Connectivity

2) SQL Server Command Line Utilities

Hi @kclausen ,

We have downloaded SQL command line MSI file on the app server. However, we are unable to install it. Can you please advise me the steps to follow here?

Thanks & regards,

You will need to provide more information here.  What is the issue you have when running the MSI?  Are you getting an error message?

When you are trying to run the MSI, is the Account that you are logged in as a full Local Admin for the Windows Server?
