vCenter targets not saving

Hi,

Having an issue at the moment where we have vCenters located in secure environments (PNF)

and although I can add some of the vCenters as targets and run the import when I recheck

the target the vCenters have dropped out.

The vCenter import is not finding the service on the devices.

All necessary permissions are in place as are firewall rules to allow connectivity.

Any ideas out there?

Thanks

Hi,

You could test ESXQuery as a cross check: https://community.flexera.com/t5/FlexNet-Manager-Knowledge-Base/VMware-Stand-alone-Inventory-Agent-for-FlexNet-Manager-Suite/ta-p/114055

Do you have ping that vCenters, port 443 can be open, but if ping (ICMP) is disabled it will not work with standard configuration.

To add onto @adrian_ritz1's comment - if ICMP is indeed disabled within your network, then the following KB may be of some use to you:
