Hello,
Would like to know the best practices for those POs which has active subscriptions for SaaS based products. We cannot create the licenses for SaaS products as FNMS didn't show any usage.
Please suggest, what should we do for those PO sitting in Unprocessed bin with active subscription.
Thank You

@lsaxena - If you have linked your SaaS Purchases to a contract for tracking the expiration date, and do not wish to create a Software License, then your best option is to "Defer" these purchases. This will remove them from your unprocessed work queue, and still keep them in FlexNet for tracking.
Once they expire, you can then make a decision to delete them, or keep them as an audit trail. For example, when you purchase a renewal for the expired SaaS Subscription, you can link the renewal purchase to your original contract. On the Purchases tab of the contract you can now see the full purchase history of all of your subscription purchases against the contract.

Hi @lsaxena ,
You may follow the below steps for unprocessed Purchases.
1. Please check for any suggestions from flexera and you can accept them if the suggestion is apt.
2. Process the purchase and create/use existing license and map to the applications.
hope this helps

hi,
in this case, I would suggest you create a contract for these kind of PO's for tracking the expiry and renewals.

Hi,
Although not getting any consumption, you could still create those licenses to represent organizational/financial risks, responsibilities, etc.
