In theory, our content library team will proactively make publisher updates once the team notices that accordingly. Of course, if the customer finds something before the team, you are welcome to simply to raise a support team to reach out to our content library team to update the Application publisher name accordingly. It is quite similar to our content submission request via support case.

Description:
This Knowledge base article will advise the customer who has Beacon AWS inventory connection by using configuring Connections to AWS using IAM Roles. The AWS External ID value is case-sensitive. Any incorrect case value could cause the connection unable to extract AWS instance data with "Unable to assume role: arn:aws:iam::xxx:role/ListEC2ForFNMSRole" in the log
Additional Information:
The case-sensitivity would be applied by AWS as they are the ones who validate the provided ExternalID. FNMS Beacon only provides it if it has been specified and evaluate the outcome if it was successful or not. In the AWS policy, the evaluation of ExternalID is set on the policy... you can see this here: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/IAM/latest/UserGuide/reference_policies_elements_condition_operators.html#Conditions_String
For example 'StringEquals' would be case sensitive, while 'StringLike' or 'StringEqualsIgnoreCase' would allow case insensitive matching.

Usually agent issue we will recommend checking the agent program log files to start with. Whether it's inventory issue or upload process issue , we should usually get a clue from those log files.
We noticed you already open the support ticket to the team , hence the support engineer will assist you if you provide with them.

If we don't hear too much sound suggestion in the forum, I will suggest creating a support ticket for content submission.
We currently have IBM Bundle SKU in place, so technically it may not be too challenge to add similar structure in PURL-Microsoft.
For the suggestion , I will suggest very least creating a license and link with three applications from your list SKU. (again if the expected application is not currently in the ARL, there can be another ARL content submission via support ticket).

Starting from beacon version 14.2.0, Data Platform standalone extractors can be executed on beacon to collect data using specific loader configurations (refer to the table below). The data will be imported into IT Visibility.
Existing custom Data Platform extractors can be used with IT Visibility as long as they use loader configurations listed below. If you need to create a new custom extractor for IT Visibility, contact Flexera Services.
Prerequisites
You are using IT Visibility, as the data is meant to be imported into IT Visibility.
Beacon version 14.0.2 or later.
If you are also using IT Asset Management, you do not need to have a separate new beacon installed, just make sure one of your IT Asset Management beacons is upgraded to version 14.0.2 or later. Note that the extracted data will be sent to IT Visibility from IT Asset Management but will not be processed in IT Asset Management.
To start using standalone extractors on beacon:
Copy the attached DNA_Normalize_Extractor_5.5.35_3003.zip file (at the bottom of this article) to a directory on Beacon server, e.g. C:\DPV5 . Then extract the zip file.
After extracting the zip file, you will see ExtractorLoader.cmd , FLEXERA_Normalize_Extractor_XXXX.exe and a few config files for Solarwinds Orion and JAMF Casper in the extracted files. Double click FLEXERA_Normalize_Extractor_XXXX.exe , it will create a new folder called EXTRACTION in the same directory. In the EXTRACTION folder, you should be able to see Extractor.exe and which can be run later with a configuration file supplied.
Create a folder with the name DataPlatformExtractor if it does not exist under directory C:\ProgramData\Flexera Software\Beacon\IntermediateData on Beacon server.
Open a command line terminal and run the following command as an example. You need to replace the corresponding options according to your environment.

For each of the individual connection, please use a unique name for the output file name. The output file name will be used as a unique identifier in IT visibility. It will be used as the connection name, which will be visible on FlexeraOne IT Visibility UI.
The output file path must be C:\ProgramData\Flexera Software\Beacon\IntermediateData\DataPlatformExtractor . Unless your beacon is installed on a different drive then you can replace C drive with the correct one.
If the same file already exists in folder C:\ProgramData\Flexera Software\Beacon\IntermediateData\DataPlatformExtractor , it will overwrite it next time when generating the new one.
If you cannot see the generated zip file, please review the command options you used or see more details in the log folder. e.g. C:\DPV5\log\normalize.txt .
Once the above command can execute successfully and you can see the generated zip file in C:\ProgramData\Flexera Software\Beacon\IntermediateData\DataPlatformExtractor , use Windows task scheduler to schedule each of your individual extractor calls. In Windows task scheduler, you can create a task that runs regularly, e.g. daily or weekly.
On the Action tab, please specify the full path of Extractor.exe for Program/script . For Add arguments (optional), please put the command options you used in step 5.
Once the scheduled task is created, it will generate the zip file in C:\ProgramData\Flexera Software\Beacon\IntermediateData\DataPlatformExtractor regularly based on the trigger you set in the scheduled task.
NOTE: If you have multiple connections to several data sources, please create a scheduled task for each of the connections and make sure to leave enough time between them to let one to finish before the next one starts to run.
Each time the scheduled task Upload third party inventory data runs, it will upload any zip files within the C:\ProgramData\Flexera Software\Beacon\IntermediateData\DataPlatformExtractor folder to C:\ProgramData\Flexera Software\Beacon\IntermediateData\Upload .
Any error during upload of the file will be moved to the Error folder C:\ProgramData\Flexera Software\Beacon\IntermediateData\DataPlatformExtractor\Error .
It will only keep the latest error zip per connection. Upload third party inventory data is defaulted to run every 10 mins. If Data Platform extractor is scheduled to run more often than 10 mins, only the latest zip file within the 10 mins will be uploaded.

Symptoms:
The App Portal customer may notice their ESDService has stopped unexpectedly.
Diagnosis:
For any issues where the ESD Service stops unexpectedly, looking at the event viewer log will typically provide a reason.. The following events may be found via Windows Event Viewer after the service stops unexpectedly:
Solution:
Such error message, particularly the exception shown in the 2nd screenshot, indicates that the "Email address for Site Alerts" setting was either empty, or multiple email addresses were specified, incorrectly.
Please go to App Portal Admin > Site Management > Settings > Email, at the "Email Address for Site Alerts" section, remove all the email address specified and provide only one email id and click on save. (This field should not be blank)
Once a valid Email address is input, it should stop the ESDService from crashing. If not, please contact support for further assistance.

We are currently verifying a DR version which is attached here. It has passed a few internal test machines.
If you would like to have a try then please backup the original XML by default located under C:\ProgramData\Flexera Software\Compliance\ImportProcedures\Inventory\Exporter\FNMPDataWarehouse\ then try the attached version.
If you are still seeing same failure with the DR, as Chris mentioned please no hesitate and contact our Flexera support team who will further help you via support process.

Good to raise this post to hear what people think.
Here are some historical reason why the current MS SQL server & components not yet built as Bundle. In the history of FNMS development, we introduced a 'Suite' concept first. (Faded memory from v8.6 FNMS). The concept of "Suite" seems fit this 'Microsoft Commercial Component' requiring license coverage. The current ARL has Suite relationship setup that as long as any commercial component is found in your machine , we reported 'SQL Server' application title as installed so SAM team will need determine a license to cover.
In 2017 around, FNMS starts 'Bundle' feature implementation and it was particularly start with IBM Bundling scenario (Primary app + supporting app). Once FNMS has the feature to handle bundle scenario properly, our FNMS Content SKU team also focus on building IBM SKU Bundle. So nowadays IBM SKU when you used for license creation, you will usually see a list of app in the identification tab as mutli-product (bundle) pre setup by our content library.
While the concept between 'Suite' vs 'Bundle' are still different here so I believe this is the reason why our Content library doesn't decide to build MS SKU as 'bundle' . Of course if there is a convincing reason. I think our product owner team will have a review and act accordingly ?
