Adobe Acrobat 1
I've got a client where I'm seeing the following within the inventory data:
|
|
|
|
Name: | Acrobat 1 | |
Source: | Flexera | |
Flexera ID: | arl://MGS-APP-00000178720 |
This doesn't indicate much about what's actually deployed, version 1 is from 1993, and it doesn't give an edition, or if it's just 'Reader'.
Can anyone confirm if this is a valid indication of Adobe Acrobat, and/or provide any additional detail?
Thanks!

Software Evidence information can be easily 'customized' via repackaging process by user company or even due to a careless job done by software vendor without putting detailed version / edition info on the evidence level. Ideally it's better to log in that specific machine reporting this software and confirm the version from machine level. I will feel surprised that Flexera agent can still capture inventory on those old OS machine if it's real version 1 of acrobat which is release in 1993 ? 🙂
Cheers
Kevin
