Hello,
Can some please help to troubleshoot this alert 'gap in maintenance' -
Added required purchase information, base and maintenance quantities matched, effective and expiry dates also corrected, but still could not get rid of this alert.
Note : Out of 4192 maint. qty, 3040 has been processed to this license, while the rest of the quantity has been processed against 2 more different licenses. Those other 2 licenses has no issue at all.

Thank you all for your responses.
We found that 'assigned entitlements' column in the linked purchase properties of the license showing up '0', while we have allocated 3040 already. Not sure why it was not updated, but we just re-assigned the partial qty again and the alert disappeared.

Hi,
You might want to check the SKUs for those purchases. While your purchase is set to "Software maintenance", FNMS might still consider conflicting data from the SKU. And that might lead to gaps being reported.
Best regards,

Verified the sku as well - it says for maintenance , until end of contract .
Linked the contract already and the maint dates are drawn from contract to PO. PFA screenshots

I think that the issue can be found in your first screen image, showing the purchase linked to the license.
The second purchase that is listed should be unlinked from the license. This has a purchase quantity of 3008, but the effective quantity assigned to this license has been changed to 0.
FlexNet is getting confused by this, as it sees a maintenance renewal linked to the license with a quantity of 0, and therefore is says that during this time period for this line, there is no active maintenance.
If you unlink this purchase from the license, I think your Gap Alert will go away.

Agreed, that 2nd line looks like weird. Not sure how that happend, but I guess you'll need to re-link it with the full 3008 maintenance entilements to close the gap.

Hi,
On the 4th record, you have 3040 maintenance count starting from 2014-06-01 and expired on 2017-05-31. And then on the 3rd record, you only have 32 maintenance count covering between 2017-06-01 to 2020-05-31, that's not enough comparing to the original value of 3040. And then on the first record, you have 3040 maintenance count from 2020-06-01 to 2025-05-31, so there are 3008(3040-32) maintenance count that have maintenance gap between 2017-06-01 to 2020-05-31.
The alerts for purchase orders linking to the license are tend to show any potential gap in maintenance, the alert indicator(In this case the red indicator on the first row) may not be pointing to the purchase order that caused the gap alert.

Cemson
