Versions in Data Platform

We have noticed that there is a problem with software versions that don't match far enough out.      We have a software that the current version is 5.4.7   and that is what we have installed in the environment.     SCCM has that version number, but when it matches with Technopedia, Data platform reports and shows it as just 5.4.    Since we are using this to identify EOL software, this becomes a problem.    5.4 is EOL (years ago), but 5.4.7 is current.   Is there a way to still have it match up, but have it report the true version?   My guess is that it didn't have a version to that level, but matched it to the 10th so it didn't NOT report it.

If you have found a lack of granularity in the normalization process as per Technopedia content then please open a support case and request the content for this specific software manufacturer, product, release to get updated, and please submit all the details you have explored so that the content team can assist.
