After a slight delay, the latest monthly patch for Data Platform 2024, 5.5.75, has now been made available as of July 11, 2024.
New Features and Enhancements
- Added customized deduping rules via private catalog settings for SQL Server database. Refer to the KB article Deduplication Rules in Data Platform Normalize and for more information about overriding deduplication behavior in the Administrative Console, see Deduping Settings in the Data Platform Administrator Guide.
- Updated Embedded Bouncy Castle version to 1.7.8.
- Added a new extractor to support IBM License Metric Tool 9.2.34 and above.
- Renamed checkboxes from Automatic Software Updates to Include Software Updates and Download Software Updates to avoid potential confusion about the purpose of those controls.
- Added drill-through for releases to the Out of Date Versions report.
Resolved Issues
- Fixed Normalize job failure issue when triggered by the scheduler.
- Resolved an issue specific to deployments on Oracle RDBMS
- Resolved the proxy server configurations related to the TLS version compatibility issue.
- Fixed User Console wizard failure issue when running with a UserConsole-only license.
- Resolved XSF files processing issue.
- Fixed an issue with Private Catalog Exporter.
- Fixed an issue during extraction with the Normalize job.
- Improved handling of XSF files with a 0-byte file size.
