We want to give users the ability to create reports, but not the ability to modify or delete existing public reports. Looking at the options in the roles, it would appear that the only option is view, or full access to create, modify, and delete public reports. Is this true, or are their other ways to restrict this access?

We are running into similar issues. A lot of systems that are showing as having Oracle Middleware applications based on the OUI and BEA evidence types when in fact they do not. In some cases they are file servers or shares where the install files are hosted but being picked up as installations. Are their any best practices to address this? Should it really just be FMW evidence that we should trust?

Have noticed that the fields available between analyzer and interactive reports are very different. Interactive contains a lot more reporting options and just was curious why they are so different. For example, in Interactive I can see the CVE ID, but in analyzer I do not. That is just one example, but there are quite a few more fields within interactive. Was curious if there is a plan to have these matching as far as the available fields.

We are looking for a way to see when the agent last supplied inventory vs just the last inventory date. We pull in assets from Tanium, SCCM, as well as the agent itself. We have noticed that in some cases the agent will stop reporting inventory however since we are seeing the same device via Tanium or SCCM the last inventory date doesn't age, so we don't really have a way to identify agents that need troubleshooting. Are there any reports or views we could leverage to specifically see the last inventory date from just the Flexera Agent?

Was curious the reason for not exposing corporate unit within the consumption tab on Oracle licenses. I see from the help where it states it is not available with oracle licenses and a couple others, but was just curious if there is a specific reason. Thanks!

I don't believe so as the customer doesn't deploy 7-zip to the users. It is more of the issue that FNM finds the same file evidence but doesn't use it as recognition, but FlexDP does. FNM just uses installer evidence.

We are seeing big differences between the evidence mapping in Data Platform compared to FlexNet Manager, and was curious if that is something on the radar. We have many customers who have both tools and for some products see some very different numbers. I have attached an example of "7-zip" where it appears that FNM uses installer evidence, and Data Platform uses file and installer evidence. The customer believes FNM to be correct, and my assumption is that Data Platform is reporting anywhere it finds the standalone executable on a system. Looking for advice on how to maybe resolve this, or if there are efforts to make the two products similar in how they map different attributes.

We recently saw the Over Spent amount on the dashboard balloon to a very large number. Wanted to see if anyone knows how this is calculated as the amount is 10-20 times more then the total amount of all the purchases we have loaded into the system currently.

We are seeing Installer evidence on a RHEL system that is listed as Uninstall within Raw Evidence Type. It is getting mapped to a product and are curious what this means in reference to RHEL. Where is it picking this type of evidence up from on a RHEL system?
