Flexera installation in citrix. Is installation in VDI mode possible ?

We have installed the application on one target device(Citrix)  which is getting reported to Flexera where else the other target devices is not reporting to Flexera.

As said before, we made one target device to Read/Write mode and completed the installation and turn the image to Read Only mode. Then the same image has been applied to other devices but those devices are not getting reflected to Flexera.

Is it possible to  install on VDI mode ?  Is there any  specific configuration available for deployment on Citrix Servers using PVS or MCS?

Hi @smanian,

Briefly, what you have done is replicating one unique Agent GUID across many systems receiving the VDI. As it is one unique GUID on e.g. 50 different systems, all 50 of the report as they are the same Agent. That's because they all have the same Global Unique Identifier, where there should be 50 GUIDs, one for each system.

Thus, you see one Agent name, but in reality all systems scan and report underneath it.
Each time a new system scans, it swaps the results of the previous one, while the name stays the same.

To resolve this and achieve the desired VDI deployment, follow the instructions provided in this KB article:

We hope this helps you solve this matter quickly.

Hello Smanian,

Can you please add more information about which Flexera product you are talking about? Do you mean Flexera Software Vulnerability Manager 2019? Please add more information about the product and what kind of issue you are facing.
