Partial Number of Processors Changing

I've noticed when making changes to some of the General properties to a VM (e.g. adjusting device role), it will also then trigger automatically an update for "Partial Number Of Processors was set to 0". 

This happens on other fields too (category, corporate unit, etc).

Anyone have an idea why this is happening? We're not modifying the hardware properties at all, but it seems to be automatically setting that Partial # of processors field each time an operator adjusts the device record.

Partial # of Processors will be set 0 if the device record is manually saved and there is currently no value set for that field.
