I did some Internet searches to try to work out what operating system runs on the IBM Hardware Management Console appliance, but couldn't find the answer. My guess is that whatever operating system it runs, it is probably not an operating system supported by the FlexNet inventory agent. As a related question: What would the use case for running the agent on this type of appliance be? Is there licensed software being installed on these appliances that needs to be managed?
