I think metering usage of Teams (teams.exe) may require Manual Mapper registry entries to be configured. That is because this software is typically installed in a way that the executable that is invoked is not within the installation directory of any Add/Remove Programs entry or Windows Installer package - so by default it falls outside the scope of processes that are tracked.

HI ChrisG,

Thanks for the information. would like to know one more thing from you,  could you please tell where can I see in the tool what data are fetched by the M365 connector.

Abhishek

HI @Abhishekdas1999 ,

The User and License entitlement data will be imported and be useful in terms of understanding the M365 licenses used.
Refer the Inventory and adapter reference guide for more information.

Chris,  Can you please provide details on the Manual Mapper to be configured?  We're also looking at the PowerBI reports and do not see Teams.  Is there an updated M365 file to process?

@BoPuck22611

It's not clear to me exactly what you're asking for, but you may want to refer to other threads for examples of configuring the manual mapper, e.g., Application usage metering using the FlexNet inventory agent and How to enable Manual Mapper via MGSSETUP.ini

The relevant executables to monitor for Power BI Desktop is PBIDesktop.exe and for Teams it's ms-teams.exe respectively, although this may depend on which versions you're using.

Thanks,
