  1. Enable logging.

Look for the "Logging" section in the left window. You can now set configuration options.

  1.  Choose a logging level.

In the Logging section, you will find options to select the logging level. The logging levels commonly available are:

  • Error: Only critical errors will be logged.
  • Warning: Errors and warnings will be logged.
  • Info: Basic information, warnings, and errors will be logged.
  • Debug: Detailed debugging information, along with info, warnings, and errors, will be logged. Use this level for extensive troubleshooting.

  1. Define the log file location.

Specify the location where you want to store the log files. You can choose a local directory or a network share. Ensure that the chosen location has sufficient permissions for writing log files.

  1. Save the configuration.

After adjusting the logging level and specifying the log file location, save the adapter with the changes.

  1. Monitor the log files.

Once the adapter is run again from your beacon, the new logging settings will generate a log. If output to file was selected, you will see a log generated along with the intermediate data for the business adapter.
