Adding additional status to inventory devices

Hello,

In Flexera ONE ITAM I see inventory devices have two options for the status. Active and Ignored, and I understand how these work. Is there anywhere where we can create further, custom statuses? For example, if we hold laptops in stock, we would like to flag these as in stock, or if a laptop is pending disposal, we would like to flag as such.

Is this possible, and where can we handle this please? In the future we will be looking to feed data from our ServiceNow CMDB into ITAM, presumably using a business adapter, but that is some way off yet.

There is no support for custom statuses for inventory devices. You can however link the inventory to an asset record which does have statuses that may be of use: https://docs.flexera.com/fnms/EN/WebHelp/index.html#topics/Asset-Props-General-Tab.html
