Hi there!

in SAP integration in Flexera tool. we got the below error message when we given our service account credentials (as username and password).

My question is do we need to allow any certain privileges to the service account on soaman.

If so what roles need to be enable

Thanks

Hi

Please check authentication & authorization in IIS configuration for SAP URL.

Hi @ReshmaB,

401 error comes when Web Service provider system has an authorization problem. Please check the credentials/security method maintained in the logical port via SOA Manager. As FNM-SAP uses basic authentication, the user name and password should be the one which is used as service user to access FNMS or Beacon depending on which host is specified in consumer proxy configuration.

Please put "domain/userid" in soamanager credential area of FNMS Beacon/Server.

I hope this helps.

Cheers,
Diggesh

we are using same service credentials which we have used to configure beacon

Check if IIS is enabled for Basic Authentication on the beacon.  If that is enabled, you may open a ticket with support.

The userid should be one which is on sap with admin access right ?

(for the first time we are doing sap integration)

The user name and password should be the one which is used as service user to access FNMS Batch server or Beacon depending what you have configured on SAP SOAMANAGER.
