Hi, does any know of a way to automatically install the MacOS FNMS Agent with being promoted or disabling Gatekeeper?
If we run the install we are asked lots of questions and it would be better if we could script this in to a answer file.
Also in order for it to run we need to disable MacOSs security features its a real pain.
Hope someone can help 🙂

You really need to consider upgrading to FNMS 2020 R2 On-Premises when it is released later this month. Not only will you have the advantage of thee new 64-bit agent, please the elimination of having to disable the OS X security feature, you will also have support for the new Big Sur OS X operating system (Mac OS X 11.0). With the new agent, there is no need for an Answer File. Just roll out the .PKG with the pre-configured mgsft_rollout_response bootstrap file and run the installer.
Since you are still running 2019 R1, you are stuck with the current limitations of the FlexNet Mac OS X Agent.

Re: MacOS Agent Automated Install
@garyb_os - What version of FlexNet Manager do you have?
Starting with 2019 R2, the Mac Agent installer was enhanced to support both 64-bit and have a signed .PKG file. It is my understanding that the requirement to disable Gatekeeper before the installation is no longer required.
