Hi Guys,
I have a problem... We have 676.289 installations without Last Used Date (in Blank) from many different Sources (SCCM and FlexNet Agent), totalizing 774 Distinct Applications without Last Used Date.
Details:
Source / Number of Installations withou Last Used Date
FlexNet Manager Suite | 504200 |
SMS | 171623 |
(blank) | 466 |

Im Attaching the list of 774 Applications.
Do you have any Idea why its happening?

Hi,
My first guess would be, because these applications have no file evidence linked. I haven't checked your list, but maybe you can?
Best regards,
Markward

All those applications were recognized automatically per ARL, should already have evidence assign, right?

Yes, but installations are usually identified by installer evidence, usage is identified by file evidence.

Also keep in mind how the application is installed. When a Windows application is installed with a technology other than traditional MSI, some inventory systems are not able to resolve the launch of an EXE back to a specific package. I have yet to see SCCM collect proper usage for most Adobe Cloud applications.
Flexera has recently made improvements in its Usage Agent to better capture usage for applications that are not installed with an MSI in 2020 R1 and 2020 R2.
You should also verify with your SCCM Administrator as to how they have your SCCM implementation configured. Make sure that Asset Intelligence is enabled and that the SCCM Agent is configured to capture the "Last Used Date" of an application.

@diegocarvejani - The only applications where Usage Data is captured are typically the type of applications where you have a Users logged into the device and manually launches an application from the START Menu or from a Shortcut icon.
If you have an applications such a Virus Protection that runs in the background and start automatically when the computer is booted, you will not get Usage Information for this type of scenario. For this same reason, you will not get any good Usage Data from applications running on a Server as server applications start up at boot time and run 24x7 as a process or service.
