Error while access any module from Hardware Assets

Yesterday we have upgraded FNMS from 2020 R1 to 2020 R2 after that we got error while accessing any modules from Hardware Assets. It gives the Unexpected error.

Below is the error in WebUI log.

We have run into this issue on one an on-prem FNMS customer environment, too.

The workaround was replacing the FNMS 2020 R2 version of the file 'Flexera.Web.Logic.dll' in the '[InstallDir] \ WebUI \ bin \' folder by the FNMS 2020 R1 version of the same file.

Obviously doing a backup of the old DLL is always recommended 😁.

After replacing file 'Flexera.Web.Logic.dll' All Asset module is working but it gives error while accessing Dashboard. 😀

I've done a search for some details from this stack trace, and as @erwinlindemann has noted this does look similar to an issue that has affected some other FlexNet Manager Suite 2020 R2 systems. Specifically, it may be the issue IOJ-2172965 noted on the FlexNet Manager Suite 2021 R1 Unresolved Issues list.

The suggestion on that list says:

To resolve the issue ensure the values of the PropertyName column of the AssetTypeProperty_MT table match exactly the values in the in the ItemResourceName column of the UIItem_MT table.

I believe the case is important - so the values in the two tables must have the same case.

This may be a little tricky to diagnose, so if you can't work it out it may help to log a case with Flexera Support to dig deeper.

Issue has been resolved after getting the output from below query
select * from AssetTypeProperty_MT

one custom field was added twice time and after removing duplicate entry from AssettyeProperty it resolves the issue.
