Deleting Contract Responsibilities

Is there a quick way to delete the Responsibilities relating to a particular contract or contracts using the adapter update spreadsheet?  It looks like if a Responsibility (like  Point of Contact) is left blank, it does not overwrite the current Responsibility (which is probably correct).  However if i try to enter a 'space' it gets rejected because that name is not live in AD.  If i do add in a valid name, it just creates a new Responsibility instead of overwriting .  

This is important to me as i have automated emails setup to go to whoever are the 'Points of Contact' for each contract and i only want it to go to one person - so at the moment i have to manually go into each contract and delete the original Point of Contact...which is a bit of a pain!

In your Business Adapter, try matching on the "Responsibility Type" instead of on the User Name.  It will then find the existing Responsibility linked to the contract, and then you can update it with a different user assignment.

Have you played around with the different "Update Rule" options?

Like Kirk mentioned, you'll have to check your matching criteria.
