DataWareHouse general question

If we are not using Cognos or  Analytics for reporting, can we then remove the DataWarehouse server and remove the “Data warehouse export” task?

(1) Solution

@KMaria - The DataWarehouse is a standard feature of FlexNet Manager and should not be removed.  That may cause issues in the future when you run the Upgrade scripts.  In addition, there are some built-in reports for FNMS (outside of Analytics) that use the information in the DataWarehouse, such as the Compliance Trend report.

Also, there is not a separate DataWarehouse "server".  There is, however, a separate DataWarehouse database that exists in the same SQL Server instance as your other FNMS databases (Compliance, Inventory, Snapshot, and Datawarehouse).
