Good day All
Just thought i would share this. Below are some PowerShell scripts that we created that would send an email alert to notify you that the Batch Process Scheduler Service has stopped or is not running.
The BatchProcessSchedulerRestart.ps1 script will restart the service automatically if stopped unexpectedly. This will also notify you that the service is restarted or if the service is running.
The BatchProcessSchedulerStopped.ps1 script will notify you that the service has stopped.
You may modify/add in other services if you would like those being monitored.
Please note, these scripts will need to be scheduled in Task Scheduler if you want them to run.
regards
Manish
