How is SW Latest Product Populated

Is SW Last Product maintained by Technopedia, and if so how is maintained? In our system I see all the values as Null

Technopedia maintains the SW 'Latest Product'. It is not all products that will have the latest name populated, i.e. it depends on whether the vendor/manufacturer announces that a product has a new name or not.

Technopedia maintains the SW 'Latest Product'. It is not all products that will have the latest name populated, i.e. it depends on whether the vendor/manufacturer announces that a product has a new name or not.
