Wrong User Assigned to New PC's for Request On Behalf

Working to go live with App Broker in the coming weeks, this customer is experiencing the wrong account assigned to a PC when doing request on behalf for new/re-imaged PC's. The users assigned are often the helpdesk technician that sets up the new PC rather than the end user. The question is - where does this data come from? How does App Broker know which use is assigned exactly, is this coming from the Computer/User relationship in SCCM or is it somehow based on the calculated/assigned user coming from FNMS?

App Portal gets the data for request on behalf of directly from the vUserComputerMap view (which is tied to the wd_usercomputer map table) in the App Portal DB.. This data is populated by the nightly data sync with Config Mgr.. The query that App Portal uses will depend upon the user/computer relationship setting.. If you look at the following community post, I provided the actual queries being run against Config Mgr.

Of course, if you have specified a custom query for the user computer map sync, then the results of this query would be imported.

Of course, if you have specified a custom query for the user computer map sync, then the results of this query would be imported. 

On the screen where you are selecting the targets, there is normally an option there to change the user once the target was selected.  We instruct our techs to use that in these cases, or when the user is unknown to App Portal.
