Create or modify the following DWORD registry values:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft\Java Update\Policy
EnableAutoUpdateCheck = 0
EnableJavaUpdate = 0

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\JavaSoft\Java Update\Policy
EnableAutoUpdateCheck = 0
EnableJavaUpdate = 0
NotifyDownload = 0
