Viewing Shortcuts in [Direct Edit Mode]

When viewing a large exising .msi in Developer, the shortcuts view is *EXTREMELY* slow. It can take up to 15 minutes to display a single shortcut.

This also happens when editing a Transform file in [DIRECT MST EDIT]. The CPU usage spikes to 100% and Developer hangs for a very long time.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas of how to workaround?

Yep I have the same problem. It doesn't matter wether the project is locally based or up on the network. It is still very very slow.

Now it´s 2012 and this problem still exits...? It doesn´t
