How to snapshot on D:\ drive ?

Hello,

I would like make a package to install an software on D:\Program Files.
After the snapshot phase, i don’t find software’s files in REPACKAGER.

But, if i install the software on C:\Program Files, i see all the files.

Can i configure ADMINSTUDIO to check on C, D and other drive ?

I use ADMINSTUDIO 7.5 trial.

First, you should consider using InstallationMonitoring in which case it doesn't matter where you install the package.

If you insist on using Snapshot, you will need to add the 😧 drive by clicking Edit on the "Set Target Project Information and Capture Settings" panel.

How do i snap the d-drive with the repackager of adminstudio 5.5. I can select te d-drive in the after-scan. but it then takes all files on the d-drive. This because it dit not scan it in the before scan.
Where can i tell it to also scan the d-drive or other/multiple drives.

1. Run the repackager of Install Sheild Admin Studio 5.5
2. Press Next
3. Choose Snapshot
4.Choose Single Step
5. Choose the setup.exe and product details in the respective fields and press next
6. Click the edit tab, It will open an Analysis Option Screen, click on the new tab and select the D Drive. Press OK
7. Then start the process of analysing the system
8. Say yes to the dialog which will ask for creating the C:\packages directory.
9. Then after the first scan, run the setup.exe and do the second scan.
10. The resuting IRP, INC files will have all the D drive installed files Captured.

Just set the ROOTDRIVE property to D:\ in your MSI or at the command line.
