Hi Frank,
I expect this is normal behaviour and related to the enablement of IBM PVU scanning, specifically the option "Enable frequent hardware scanning for IBM PVU license calculations" under Discovery & Inventory > Settings. With this feature enabled, agents run a hardware only scan every 30 minutes. In the logs you should also see a less frequent full scan (typically daily).

The Flexera Linux agent only supports x86 and x64 platforms currently. Power8 is not supported.

Only standalone Oracle database inventory that is lacking hardware details is categorized as 'incomplete' and 'unmatched' only applies if ComplianceDomainID is null for one of the records which I expect is not the case here.
The serial number issue in SCCM ultimately needs to be resolved so rule 16 can be successfully applied.
16. Matcher for computers using the serial number and computer name
• UntrustedSerialNo is false
• SerialNo is set
• ComputerName is set

Hi Jan, The Mac address is not used by FlexNet for merging, it must be something else that is not matching like serial number as you mentioned. What type of device is it? If it is a Windows based device, the serial number will be used for matching. If SCCM is not capturing the serial number, I suggest working to solve that issue. You could also look at the ImportedComputer_MT table for other differences. SELECT * FROM ImportedComputer_MT WHERE ComputerName = 'name of compiuter'

Thank-you for raising a support ticket.
For the benefit of anyone following this thread, further investigation has identified that 2 of the 6 hours running reconciliation are spent creating the LMS audit export zip which isn't strictly required by reconciliation results and could be processed separately.
The team will raise a product enhancement request for this LMS audit export performance to be improved or to be done independently of reconciliation.
This may not explain the slowdown experienced by end users during reconciliation. If this slowdown persists, I suggest working via support to identify exactly time periods where slowdown is observed for further investigation.

As of v2019R1, the PeakConsumed property on licenses is no longer available. The PVU peak is now calculated dynamically based on history. Further details are available in the "FlexNet Manager Suite Release Notes 2019 R1"

Hi Adam,
The only services started by the Flexera agent on *nix machines is ndtask and mgsusageag.
ndtrack and ndschedag and executables run by ndtask.
What exactly is the problem the customer is trying to solve?

The inventory agent currently uses the DNS domain part of the host name of the machine, if the host name is in fully qualified domain name (FQDN) form (for example, running hostname | cut d '.' -f 2). If the host name is not a FQDN, it fails over to using the NIS domain name (for example, running domainname | grep -v "(none)"). Note that ndtrack does not actually run these commands but uses the system call versions, for example gethostname().
Note that you can override the value using a command line option: -o ComputerDomain=my.domain.com or the config.ini equivalent under [Common].

Unix devices will retry bootstrapping policy at least once per day. Windows devices do not share this behavior and will only retry bootstrapping policy on device reboot assuming this was a transient issue that will correct on retry.

Hi Steve,
If it is a caching issue it should resolve itself in 5 minute or restarting IIS would do the trick.
If this doesn't resolve the issue, it may indicate the correct values in the database are not updated. Keep in mind there is both a PurchaseOrder (header) and PurchaseOrderDetail (line) record of which some fields are deprecated and not present in the Web UI
