Error when creating Smart Group Notificaiton

When creating a Smart Group Notification for a Product Smart Group I get a general error.

Could you please provide more information?

The smartgroup name have a special character, say '-', '<', '>' and it breaks in Smartgroup notification. This is the reason for unexpected error. Is it possible to rename the smartgroup and created a new smartgroup notification?

This is issue is noted in ticket - IOJ-1921584 and will be available on next release.
