Symptoms
The On Premises license details shown in the 'FlexNet Manager Suite License' page of the web UI show the 'Sharing anonymized ARL data with Flexera Software' option is set to Yes. Is there a possibility of setting this value to No?
Cause
The 'Sharing anonymized ARL data with Flexera Software' option is set to Yes by default for On Premises customers. This cannot be changed through the web UI. This setting does not affect the functionality of On Premise installations. The 'Sharing anonymized ARL data with Flexera Software' option is used on Cloud environments to allow for 'Unrecognised Evidence' to be gathered for addition to our content libraries. Resolution
This is a known issue and has been reported in issue FNMS-26135. This value is stored in the ComplianceTenantSetting database table. To alter this option to 'No' please modify the output of the query below from a 1 to 0:
SELECT * FROM ComplianceTenantSetting_MT WHERE SettingNameID=130
As with any database modification, Flexera Software recommends taking a backup of the database prior to making any changes
