Summary
This article covers an enhancement to allow NUP and Processor type licenses to use Group Assignment.
Symptoms
We have an Oracle "Named User Plus" Database Standard License. This license was allocated manually to a certain device and also has consumptions from other machines. However, when we try to see how the consumptions for the different enterprise groups are (for cross charging reasons), we do not find this information anywhere.
Please have a look into this and let me know if we have misconfigured something and advise how we can get the consumption on an enterprise group level.
Resolution
An enhancement already exists to allow NUP and Processor type licenses to use Group Assignment. This can be tracked through reference FNMS-22782
