Summary
Allocated devices only consume 1 point on a license, why is this?
Synopsis
When a device has been manually allocated to a core license the number of consumed points is set to 1 and not the number cores that the machine contains, why is this.
Discussion
In addition to allocating the device to the license the number of points the device consumes also needs to be allocated for the correct consumption to be reflected.
To add the number of allocated points select the "Consumption" Tab on the license and the "Allocated Points" column if it is not already present and adjust the values accordingly.

This behaviour has will be adjusted in the next major release of FlexNet Manager Suite (FNMS 2016), the behaviour around this area will be documented in the online help for the specific license type.
