easy way to re-organize subnets/sites
Hi all,
I'm looking for a way to move targets between subnets, if this exist since I need to create new groups with same targets but I don't want to delet from one and add to another, is there any "move" action?
Is there any other way to better organize subnets?
Should I worry to lose any inventory information deleting a server from a subnet and adding it to another one? (I will perform a massive reorganization)
As usual thank you all for your help

Hi,
You're correct, there's no move action. You could automate the creation and removal of sites and subnets using SQL (assuming you're runnign FNMS on prem), but is it worth the effort?
As far as I know, there is no information you can lose when deleting subnets. Existing decovered devices should be mapped to new subnets as you go. Inventory should not directly be linked to sites and subnets. Be aware that you'll need to re-link the new subnets to your beacons to keep them "responsible".
Best regards,
Markward
