We deploy the agents onto all servers and clients, it's the same agent for an Oracle DB server and an ordinary server. The agent will pull down your latest inventorysettings.xml which contain the Oracle scripts. You can change the settings in the FNMS gui under Discovery&Inventory-> Settings, if you want to use a specific version of inventorysettings.xml.
Depending how the Oracle DB are installed on the servers and which operating system, you might need to do some post-installation configurations. Ex set the OracleInventoryUser to a user that has DBA access rights, or if you create a separate user account and grant access rights.
