(1) Solution

Hi avinashkalapala,

I would suggest checking some configurationsettings on your Beacon, please:

  • Use the 'Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager' tool to check that the 'ManageSoftDL' virtual folder is configured to point to the following drive and folder (this is assuming that the Beacon software has been installed on the C: drive):

C:\Program Files (x86)\Flexera Software\Inventory Beacon\DotNet\bin

  • Check the C:\Program Files (x86)\Flexera Software\Inventory Beacon\DotNet\bin folder on the Beacon for any files that contain 'SAP' in the file name. You should find four files:
  1. SAPReader.exe
  2. Flexera.Compliance.SAPRFC.dll
  3. sapnco.dll
  4. sapnco_utils.dll

There should be no file named 'Flexera.Compliance.SAPRFC.dll-bk'.

From the file name, I would guess this might be a backup file. In case you find a file with this name, you should delete it, or at least move it to a different folder.
