Need Help with SLP Configuring License allocation Restrictions in FNMS

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have experience configuring two restrictions for the same license in FNMS? I need some assistance with setting up the following:

  • For installation sites in India, the number of licensed product copies per site should be unlimited. (This part is done.)
  • For installation sites in the USA, the number of licensed product copies per site should be limited to 30 quantity.

Any guidance on how to achieve this would be greatly appreciated!

I think that there would be multiple ways to implement these restrictions, so please consider this to be just an idea that I haven't tested.

  1. Create a report that includes all devices in India plus all devices in the USA.
  2. Create a license restriction based on this report group: Capture.PNG
  3. Configure group assignments for the US sites limited to 30.
  4. Configure the enterprise group assignment rule similar to either of these options: Capture-1.PNG

I'm sure that other forum members may have other ideas, so please keep them coming.
