In FNMS on-prem 2019R2 summary risk alert, (make the red go away)

In FNMS on-prem 2019R2 is there a way to delete a summary risk alert, where no products are listed? (make the red go away)

(1) Solution

This alert in the 'License Compliance > Compliance > Product Summary' view will occur if you have any licenses that have no "Primary Product" assigned.

You can filter on these licenses by adding the optional "Product (primary)" column to the "License Compliance > Licenses > All Licenses" view, and filter on those licenses where the contents of this column is empty.

There are several potential reasons that a license has no "Primary Product" assigned:

  • The license is not linked to any application. In this case, the license usually will have no consumption calculated, and will not show up red in the "Product Summary" view.
  • The license has a suite linked to it, or has multiple applications linked to it where no application is marked as 'primary' application.

To remove the alert, you should make sure that your licenses all have at least one application linked, and that there is a primary product configured for all licenses.

Can you provide some additional information (or a screenshot) what you mean by "summary risk alert", please?

Erwin,  thank you for the suggestion, we have been working on the list and the Product Summary views.  Appreciate the feedback.  Ralph
