On UNIX-like operating systems, the FlexNet agent does not gather file details from network file systems by default. However agent preferences can be configured to gather these details if desired - see the following article for some discussion: Why are network filesystems being excluded from inventory?
On Windows, if shared drives are somehow mapped to be visible in the context of the running agent (which is typically the SYSTEM user for an installed agent) then the agent's IncludeDirectory preference could be configured to gather file details from them. However shared drives are usually mapped only in the context of logged on users, so in practice processes like the FlexNet agent that are running in the SYSTEM context will not see them.
