Collect AWS EC2 software inventory through FNMS Agent

Hello,

Is it possible to collect the software inventory of the AWS EC2 instance in Flexnet Manager Suite 2020R2 (on-prem)? If yes, what all steps are involved in this process?

Yes, You can install agent on Ec2 instance & gather required inventory.

So is it similar to the on-prem installation of the agent on the EC2 instance as well? If yes then, I believe we just then need to open ports for this communication. Correct?

Yes. you have to open firewall port between beacon and agent.
