AWS EC2 connector discover instances accross multiple accounts

For testing purposes we've established an EC2-Beacon in AWS.

We've setup EC2, IAM, Rolls and permissions accordingly.

We also setup some additional accounts and created some instances for them (not powerd on).

Then we've checked discovery wether we can see the instances from the other accounts too, but the only instances shown are those which are resiting within the account where the beacon is configured.

Any idea how to see the instances of the other accounts too?

thanks in advance

Hi Matthias,

We had a successful test yesterday. Standalone Beacon server on Azure VM, no credentials needed. One main account, 2 child accounts. Just had to follow the Flexera documentation thoroughly regarding policies and roles. Then it worked. I guess, Klaus will get in contact soon.

Best regards,

Markward
