I need to move configuration files created by application on install in to a new location say i:\Configs\AppfolderName i.e., I should create two folders named Configs and AppfolderName on a drive different from my installation drive and then move the configuration file to this location after installation.
Is there any work around for doing this using custom actions or editing any of the tables.
I tried with a Vb script which works fine when we run it but it fails when used with the package.
I dont have any clue on how to move a file on to a folder on different drive.
I am using Adminstudio 8.0 for packaging
any suggestions on this post would be of greate help
