Uninstall via add/remove not working properly

I'll start off saying this forum has helped a great deal in my efforts with installshield.... Thank you...

But here's another...

I have a number of apps that have been repackaged that have been developed with installshield 3.5 and developer 7.0.

When I install the msi manually no problem, when I uninstall through add/remove no problem.

When I install the msi via Group Policy as advertised app no problem, let GP remove it for me no problem.

When I install the msi via Group Policy as advertised app no problem, I then as the user go to add/remove app and it removes registry and files but does not remove from add/remove app list.

Has anyone had this issue before?

Any help would be much appreciated...

Can you be more specific with method of deployment? You used the word Advertise but did you mean to say assigned to computer or assigned to user?

It is user assigned. And I have just seen that any user assigned app stays in the add/remove programs even if it is installed or not.
