OK, i am now getting the hang of this. i can get everything where i want it. not just once but repeatedly 🙂 but one SMALL problem remains. IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW MUCH I TELL THE PROJECT TO LEAVE A REGISTRY KEY, ON UNINSTALL IT REMOVES IT!!!!
this is a major problem as i am setting required keys to a new value, then after an uninstall the keys are not only not returned to their original value, but are deleted altogether.
I really need an answer on this one. this also seems to go for files. i am setting to not shared, permanent etc but they are always removed on uninstall anyway. this was ok under version 3.0 but now it is removing everything. HHEEELLLPPP!!!
