When trying to repackage a program I get the following entry in the log:
*** Warning: Registry entries for service 'INPROFSD' will remain in the Registry table because the path format for the ImagePath '\??\%SystemFolder%\kwWebIFS.sys' is not supported by Windows Installer.
(Which probably means that the \??\ is not supported.
After a test-run for the MSI file, the service is running..?, but does not do the things it is supposed to do.
Is there a way to get around this problem? I tried already searching for \??\, but it seems search engines do not like it 😞
