Hi,
can someone please explain why there are two sets of shortcuts in AdminStudio?
Is it safe to remove one of them?
What's the difference between them?

Thanks,
Nicklas

Hi Nicklas,

I am not sure what you mean by two sets of shortcuts. Could you clarify where you are seeing these shortcuts? Perhaps you could attach a screenshot?

Thanks,
Ajay
Hi,
thanks for the reply
I have attached a picture of the shortcuts
There is one set in
Taskbar/Start Menu/...
and one in
[WindowsVolume]Users/All Users/...

Thanks,
Nicklas
Thank you for posting the screenshot because it helped me to understand the issue that you are seeing.

The snapshot mode of Repackager is currently capturing two copies of each shortcut when repackaging on Windows Vista and newer. It is safe to delete the copy that is off of the WindowsVolume for each shortcut as a workaround.

We have an issue reported for this behavior with number IOA-000053428.

We have made enhancements to the Installation Monitoring capture mode for our next release, and it will not have this issue.

Regards,
Ajay
Thanks 😄
