Setup.exe to MSI??

Hi,

Firstly I must say Im fairly new to Install Shield Admin Studio. But have been using zenworks for many years now.

I've got a setup.exe packaged with installshield, and 2 .CAB files along with it. If I run setup.exe -a I get a usual folder like
{5624c000-b109-11d4-9db4-00e0290fcac5} in the temp dir but this contains a small setup.inx and no msi.

The package is a VPN client that we want to add some VPN tunnel details into the Installer or a transform. But without an MSI I cant see how to apply a transform.. any one got any ideas how I can repackage this installer to get an msi.

I dont think I can snapshot the install as the installer installs some VNP virtual network card and snap shotting this install will cause problems with the virtual hardware when installed on another machine.

The setup.inx file is an InstallShield Professional engine file.

While I agree, that the setup.exe was packaged with InstallShield. I don't believe that it has yet to be repackaged by AdminStudio into MSI form. First step is to run the repackaing process.
