Hello, I'm repackaging an application that installs itself as a service through its own install. When I repackage the software the service does not show up until I reboot. Is there a way to circumvent the need for a reboot?
When you install the MSI are you actually seeing the Service under Control Panel / Services or is is just not there at all. If it is there it may be that it just isnt starting and you can make the MSI start the service for you.
If not then rebooting might be the only way to get it to start properly. Unfortunatly my knowledge of Adminstudio is limited so that is the only help I can be 🙂
