Repackager Question

Does Repackager pick up changes to text-based configuration files with an extension other than .INI?

In other words, if my application stores configuration information in a text file named myapp.xyz, is Repackager intelligent enough to pick up the specific changes that were made to that configuration file?

I know that Repackager can pick up the fact that there were changes to that file, but can it detect the exact nature of the information that was added, modified, or deleted?

This is really a good question. I just peformed some tests(using InstallMonitor technique) and figured out that it actually captured all the lines that i am appending to a file using InstallScript functions. However I am not sure whether it could be done using Snapshot method too..
