Multiple setups required

Problem - Application that I'm trying to convert to MSI requires three different setup's to complete. First is base product install, then there are two additional setup's required to bring up to current version. I've tried letting Repackager launch and complete first and then go back manually and run additional setup's prior to processing w/o luck. Any ideas? I'm not upgrading a package that is already in place, our vendor has just gone through that many changes prior to go live w/ this app.

The repackaging scenario you have outlined can be effectively addressed by following these steps.

1. Run the 'Repackager' and launch the 'Repackaging' Wizard.
2. Select 'Snapshot' as your method of repackaging.
3. Select 'Multiple Steps' as your snapshot method.

You would generate your initial snapshot on a clean system,
run the various installations, and then 'analyze system status changes' to generate your base INC file. At which point, you can use the 'Repackager' to complete the process of building the initial ISM or MSI file.
