Hi there
I'd like to know what the differences are between Installshield X & AdminStudio 6.
they can be obvious or not i'm not sure, i don't use all the capabilities so i'm not even sure if this an applicable question :).

I've been using devstudio 7 that's pretty much what i need, but i've tried X and now i'm wondering if I should take a look at adminstudio 6.

TIA

If you're an Administrator and use InstallShield to repackage applications, you will want to have a look at AdminStudio. If you use InstallShield to create setups to install your own software, you don't need AdminStudio.
To extend Peerke's comments, AdminStudio v6.0 includes InstallShield X and a number of other tools and functionality. One of these tools is a Repackager for converting non-MSI installations into MSI installations.

You should consider the additional functionality provided by AdminStudio after which if InstallShield X is all the functionality that you need, then go with it.
